Requesting help or resources
If you need a care package or resources, please email us at info@restoring-roots-thriving-forward.org. Please start your email by stating you need help with resources, and include what you are struggling with and what resources you are looking for. Once care packages are being curated, you can also request those. We will soon have a form for various situations to help streamline requests. If you have questions about shop items, you can use the same email address.
We want you to know that you don't need to be afraid to ask for help. You are important and you matter, and we will do our best to assist you when we can. Everyone is treated with respect and dignity. While we cannot promise to help everyone, our goal is to help as many people as possible, depending on what resources we have available at the time. We will also endeavor to find possible resources to help you.
Frequently asked questions
Are thrifted items in the shop refundable and returnable?
It depends on the item and the situation. Each item description will include the return procedure if a return is available, and the same applies to refunds. We also send items with insurance and tracking.
Who qualifies for care packages?
Anyone may qualify if they are struggling to make ends meet, are experiencing a crisis, need a little extra help, are elderly, are disabled, have lost a job, lost a loved one, or lost their home. You can also check for special requests to see if you may receive special acceptance. Verification will be required. (Care packages are still in the planning stages but coming soon!)
How much will care packages cost?
The cost will depend on the situation. If someone is buying for their own use or to give to someone they know, it will depend on the package or packages chosen. For someone to buy and donate to one of our clients, it also depends on the package or packages. For those in need of a package or packages while they are in need or crisis, it is free.
